For packagings which require no official approval, it is the responsibility of the BAM to approve and monitor the quality assurance programs for designing, manufacturing, testing, documenting, using, maintaining and inspecting packagings subject to testing for use with radioactive materials in compliance with ADR, section 1.7.3.
